Roles and Responsibility

Develop annual sales plan and budgets for the assigned zone (sales revenue, category driven sales)

Devise appropriate strategies and initiatives for achievement of targets in the zone. Make the zone the most profitable one

Grow business in the assigned zone by evaluating and targeting new customers with inputs from divisional heads

Advise and provide inputs to product managers and sales team on new initiatives and for establishing Company as the preferred brand amongst different customer segments

Represent the business in external forums and associations, as required in the zones

Provide accurate sales forecast / accurate sales data to maintain optimum inventory level

Should manage a large portfolio and P&L management for multiple geo clusters of the country

Complete business model creation and executing the same with proper reporting of huge data interpretation

Ensure business growth and profits for the company in the allocated zone and drive the team to achieve targets

Review team performance and coach & mentor them towards higher performance

Track & review the status of customer complaints / requirements (if any) in the zone on a regular basis

Coach the entire sales leadership to make data driven action items and corrective measures

Identifying and acquiring new customers, as well as up-selling to the existing customer base

Building strong relationships with key accounts

Negotiate and close agreements with large customers

Perform research and identify new potential customers and new market opportunities

Do skip level meetings on regular basis across the line function
